At iQ Payments,
But it never sat right with me. I wanted to understand why small Michigan businesses were being overcharged — and why honest owners were losing money without even realizing it. So I learned the payment industry from the inside out, from merchant statements to processors to POS systems, determined to create something more transparent and trustworthy for local businesses. That journey became my calling — and the foundation for what would eventually grow into iQ Payments, a Michigan-based merchant services provider built to protect small businesses from the same problems my family faced.
Along the way, I teamed up with Niket, a lifelong entrepreneur with over five years of hands-on experience in the payments industry. Like me, Niket also comes from a family of small business owners. He’s seen firsthand the challenges of staying profitable when every swipe, tap, or chip transaction chips away at your margins. Together, we built iQ Payments to bring honesty, technology, and personalized service back to the payments world — for small businesses, not giant corporations.
